V Mart's distribution and logistics are streamlined and its stores and
warehouses are well networked to serve the organization's requirements
enabling it to transfer merchandise within a short time period of generating an
order receipt.
We have a fleet of more than 10 vehicles which caters to the need of the stores.
Managing such fleet with proper ERP system is not possible, so we have placed an ERP system which generates requirement of each of store well in advance.
In addition to this we have a team of well trained people having an eye over the sales trends vis-a-vis trends in the market.
To maintain such a fleet we have installed GPS system in each of vehicles, through which their route can be traced. This helps us in planning of routes of the vehicles and cost optimization.
This all adds up optimizing inventory management and ensured an adequate availability of merchandize in its stores at all times.
The company currently operates three warehouses, two in New Delhi and one in Ahemadabad which comprises of a dedicated space of 80,000 sq ft.
This space adds up and gives an edge in delivering merchandize in proper time to all stores. In addition to all above our ERP system links each steps right from budgeting to the sale of merchandize which gives us an edge.
